Ask Kids - (formerly known as Ask Jeeves for Kids) A fast, easy, and kid-friendly way for kids to search online. Designed to be a fun destination site focused on learning and "edu-tainment".
DibDabDoo.com - Ad-free, non-commercial directory of websites designed for child-safe searching.
Fact Monster - A product of Information Please, it provides facts and information oriented around the needs of children.
GoGooligans.com - An educational search engine designed to provide kid-oriented search results.
KidsClick! - Backed by librarians, it provides about 5,000 websites in various categories.
OneKey - A filtered Google search and includes a directory of websites.
Yahoo!Kids - Yahoo for Kids, designed for ages 7 to 12. Sites are hand-picked to be appropriate for children. Yahooligans is the oldest major directory for children, launched in March 1996.
ALA Websites - List of links to different websites pertaining to different topics that are student-friendly, through the American Library Association. Also has a link to search the database and you can search by intended audience, keyword, or URL.
